At Cinema Planeta we believe that it is very important to generate a sense of community and at the same time to create new ways of organizing and understanding ourselves in the world. In this sense, the cycling tours organized by the festival are fundamental: we want to show through this activities, that the bicycle is a means of transport, but also of amusement and fun. A cyclist tour encourages the encounter between people who simply use the bicycle as a way of recreation and others who have made this means of transport a way of life, that demand security and exclusive lanes from governments and that understand their daily transportation, as a way to protect the environment.
This year the cycling tour will not be in Cuernavaca, the reason: we wanted all the usual participants, to travel to Cuautla to meet their peers. After the tour, we will screen a movie at Cinema Bike.
Grab your helmet, your bike and ride!
The meeting is at the Old Station of the Interoceanic Railroad of Cuautla at 17:30 h. Projection at 20:00 h.

The story of the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, a Paraguayan music group of kids that live next to one of South America’s largest landfills. This orchestra plays instruments made entirely out of garbage. When their story goes viral, the orchestra is catapulted into the global spotlight. The film is a testament to the transformative power of music and the resilience of the human spirit.
