The Mexican Center for Innovation in Solar Energy is a national project that includes the structuring of a consortium that generates synergy in favor of the use of solar energy in the country as well as the scientific and technological planning for the favorable use of this energy. Its objectives are to promote the generation of marketable products and services on a solid innovation basis, the creation of entrepreneurial capacities in the solar industry in Mexico, the generation of sustained and upward knowledge, the generation of world-class talent, the promotion of Strategic use of solar technology for its appropriation and social use, among others.
* His interest is in basic and applied research with contributions in the field of thermodynamics of irreversible processes, transmission in porous media, photonics with nanostructures, complex systems and thermal applications of solar energy. He received the title of Physicist and the degrees of M.S and Ph.D, both in physics, at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is Director of the Institute of UNAM Renewable Energies.
