Cinema Planeta 2010, International Environmental Film Festival of Mexico, took place in Cuernavaca, Morelos and the National Cinematheque from March 5th to 14th, 2010. Mexico’s only film festival completely dedicated to providing information related to the environment grew in its second year.
50 films were shown from over 20 different countries.
The International Jury that scored and selected the winning films was composed of Gaetano Capizzi, President and Director of the Cineambiente in Turín; Isa Cucinotta, Programmer at Green Screens at the Lincoln Center in New York; Dr. Antonio de Río of the Energy Research Center in Morelos; Lucero Solórzano, film critic; and Anne Aghion, filmmaker.
